At the concert, singer <strong>Kjalar Martinsson Kollmar<\/strong> will perform with a band, namely <strong>Alexandra R\u00f3s Nor\u00f0kvist<\/strong> on drums, <strong>Hlynur S\u00e6varsson<\/strong> playing the bass and <strong>Andr\u00e9s \u00de\u00f3r<\/strong> on guitar.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Kjalar made a name for himself as a singer when he participated in Idol stj\u00f6rnuleit, the Icelandic version of Pop Idol, and S\u00f6ngvakeppni sj\u00f3nvarpsins, the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, but in Hafnarborg he will show a different side to his artistry as he will perform a varied programme of jazz standards and jazz-influenced music.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The concert lasts for approximately one hour and admission is free.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The concert series is supported by the town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and the Rann\u00eds Music Fund.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friday September 1st at 6 p.m., we invite you to the first Afternoon Concert of the season at Hafnarborg.
