For more details about the evening\u2019s programme, please read below:<\/p>\n<p><strong>6 p.m.<br \/>\nAfternoon Concert at Hafnarborg<\/strong><br \/>\nHalli Gu\u00f0munds Trio will perform at the first Afternoon Concert of the year at Hafnarborg. Aside from contrabassist Haraldur \u00c6gir Gu\u00f0mundsson, the trio, dubbed \u201cLatin Kid Dances Tango\u201d by Halli, is made up of Matth\u00edas Hemstock on drums and percussion and Andr\u00e9s \u00de\u00f3r on guitar. The programme will consist of new music by Haraldur \u00c6gir, who recently released the album <em>Tango for One<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7:30 p.m.<br \/>\nNidra Meditation<\/strong><br \/>\nIn Hafnarborg\u2018s lower gallery, amid sculptural works by \u00de\u00f3r Sigur\u00fe\u00f3rsson, yoga instructor Anna J\u00f3hannesd\u00f3ttir will lead guests through a guided meditation, focusing on time, grounding and inner calm. In the exhibition, the artist himself works with found objects like tent pegs, clock hands and newspaper, referencing time and place. The event is suitable for participants of all ages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>8:30 p.m.<br \/>\nGuided Tour of Our Current Exhibitions<br \/>\n<\/strong>We invite you to a guided tour of our current exhibitions with Ald\u00eds Arnard\u00f3ttir, Director of Hafnarborg. She will then take guests on a walkthrough of <em>Tidemark<\/em>, a retrospective of works by J\u00f3n\u00edna Gu\u00f0nad\u00f3ttir, and <em>Pointers<\/em>, presenting new works by \u00de\u00f3r Sigur\u00fe\u00f3rsson.<\/p>\n<p><em>Museum Night takes place during the Winter Lights Festival, when around fifty museums open their doors to guests, offering a varied programme of events and entertainment. The cultural institutions of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, The Library, The History Museum and Hafnarborg, are active participants, as in years past.
