The underlying themes of the exhibition relate to the power of art as a force for healing \u2013 a kind of magic that may foster empathy \u2013 as we face different experiences and emotions, such as pain and personal growth, trauma and relief, joy and sorrow.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lukas Bury<\/strong>\u00a0is an artist of Polish and German background. He graduated with an MA degree in fine art from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2020. Lukas lives and works in Reykjav\u00edk.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In My Language<\/em><\/strong><em> is an event programme focused on making Hafnarborg more accessible to people of different backgrounds by welcoming guests to the museum in various languages. <\/em><em>The event is a collaboration between Hafnarborg and GETA \u2013 Aid Organisation that works to build a more tolerant and inclusive society through a wide range of activities. The programme is supported by the Museum Fund.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The event is suitable for guests over 12 years old and no prior knowledge or experience of art is required. <\/strong><strong>Free entry \u2013 everyone welcome.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\"><strong>W moim j\u0119zyku: Nieznane dobrodziejstwo \u2013 oprowadzanie po wystawie w j\u0119zyku polskim<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><strong>W niedziel\u0119, 27 pa\u017adziernika o godz. 14<\/strong>, artysta <strong>Lukas Bury<\/strong> poprowadzi <strong>oprowadzanie po wystawie<\/strong> <em>Nieznane dobrodziejstwo<\/em> w j\u0119zyku polskim, kt\u00f3ra jest obecnie prezentowana w muzeum.<\/p>\n<p>Wystawa prezentuje prace czternastu islandzkich i mi\u0119dzynarodowych artystek, pracuj\u0105ce z r\u00f3\u017cnymi mediami, w tym malarstwem, rze\u017ab\u0105 i wideo. G\u0142\u00f3wne tematy wystawy nawi\u0105zuj\u0105 do mocy sztuki jako si\u0142y uzdrawiaj\u0105cej \u2013 rodzaju magii, z kt\u00f3rej mo\u017ce wykie\u0142kowa\u0107 empatia \u2013 gdy stajemy w obliczu r\u00f3\u017cnych do\u015bwiadcze\u0144 i emocji, takich jak b\u00f3l i osobisty rozw\u00f3j, trauma i ukojenie, rado\u015b\u0107 i smutek.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lukas Bury<\/strong> jest artyst\u0105 polskiego i niemieckiego pochodzenia. Uko\u0144czy\u0142 studia magisterskie z zakresu sztuk pi\u0119knych na Islandzkim Uniwersytecie Sztuki w 2020 roku.
