The exhibition thus poses questions about what happens when we are confronted with works that demand us to engage and be affected. Works that in their innocence and intimate situation are risk-taking.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hugo Llanes<\/strong> (b. 1990) is an artist whose work explores political and social issues through a range of media, including installations and performances. He examines themes of migration, power dynamics and post-colonial identity, often inviting audience participation. Llanes holds an MA in Fine Art from the Iceland University of the Arts.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In My Language<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0is an event programme focused on making Hafnarborg more accessible to people of different backgrounds by welcoming guests to the museum in various languages.\u00a0The event is a collaboration between Hafnarborg and GETA \u2013 Aid Organisation that works to build a more tolerant and inclusive society through a wide range of activities.
