Saturday March 15th at 2 p.m.<\/strong>, artist Hugo Llanes <\/strong>will take guests on a guided tour in Spanish<\/strong> of Linger<\/em>, an exhibition featuring works by eight artists from England and Iceland: Anna Hrund M\u00e1sd\u00f3ttir, Birgir Sn\u00e6bj\u00f6rn Birgisson, Danny Rolph, Ingibj\u00f6rg Sigurj\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir, Joel Tomlin, Kristinn M\u00e1r P\u00e1lmason, Peter Lamb and Vanessa Jackson.<\/p>\n

Linger<\/em> reflects on art as a process and its inner logic to connect, not only to us, the viewer, but also to its surroundings. The exhibition thus poses questions about what happens when we are confronted with works that demand us to engage and be affected. Works that in their innocence and intimate situation are risk-taking.<\/p>\n

Hugo Llanes<\/strong> (b. 1990) is an artist whose work explores political and social issues through a range of media, including installations and performances. He examines themes of migration, power dynamics and post-colonial identity, often inviting audience participation. Llanes holds an MA in Fine Art from the Iceland University of the Arts.<\/p>\n

In My Language<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0is an event programme focused on making Hafnarborg more accessible to people of different backgrounds by welcoming guests to the museum in various languages.\u00a0The event is a collaboration between Hafnarborg and GETA \u2013 Aid Organisation that works to build a more tolerant and inclusive society through a wide range of activities. The programme is supported by the Museum Fund.<\/em><\/p>\n

Staldra\u00f0u vi\u00f0\/Linger<\/em> reflexiona sobre el arte como proceso y su l\u00f3gica interna para conectar, no solo con el espectador, sino tambi\u00e9n con su entorno. La exposici\u00f3n plantea preguntas sobre lo que sucede cuando nos enfrentamos a obras que nos invitan a comprometernos y dejarnos afectar, obras que, en su inocencia e intimidad, asumen riesgos.<\/p>\n

Hugo Llanes<\/strong> (n. 1990) es un artista cuyo trabajo explora cuestiones pol\u00edticas y sociales a trav\u00e9s de una variedad de medios, incluyendo instalaciones y performances.
