The workshop will be conducted in Spanish, Icelandic and English, and will be led by artists <strong>Hugo Llanes<\/strong> and <strong>Ingunn Fj\u00f3la Ing\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, participants are invited to contribute to a collective sculpture centred on wellbeing, gratitude and affection. They will also have the opportunity to create their own <em>milagro<\/em> \u2013 a small metal object symbolising a wish or a gesture of thanks for something positive. The <em>milagros<\/em> are made through the technique of embossing, embedded in Mexican and European traditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hugo Llanes<\/strong> (b. 1990) is a Mexican artist based in Reykjav\u00edk, working with a range of media including installations and performances. He holds an MA in Fine Arts from the Iceland University of the Arts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingunn Fj\u00f3la Ing\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir\u00a0<\/strong>(b. 1976) is an Icelandic artist living in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. She has an MA degree in Fine Arts from the Iceland University of the Arts, as well as a BA degree in Art History from the University of Aarhus. Ingunn Fj\u00f3la is also the founder of the GETA aid organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>In My Language<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0is an event programme focused on making Hafnarborg more accessible to people of different backgrounds by welcoming guests to the museum in various languages.\u00a0The event is a collaboration between Hafnarborg and GETA \u2013 Aid Organisation that works to build a more tolerant and inclusive society through a wide range of activities. The programme is supported by the Museum Fund.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>The workshop will take place on the ground floor of the museum. It\u2019s open to individuals of all ages and skill levels, but children should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. As always, participation in workshops and entrance to the museum\u2019s exhibitions is free of charge.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\"><strong>En mi idioma \u2013 taller de milagros multilingu\u00eb<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><strong>El s\u00e1bado 12 de abril de 13:00 a 15:00 horas<\/strong>, Hafnarborg ofrece un taller multiling\u00fce que une culturas diversas mediante la creaci\u00f3n de milagros mexicanos. El taller se llevar\u00e1 a cabo en espa\u00f1ol, island\u00e9s e ingl\u00e9s, y ser\u00e1 coordinado por los artistas <strong>Hugo Llanes<\/strong> e <strong>Ingunn Fj\u00f3la Ing\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Durante el taller, los participantes est\u00e1n invitados a crear una escultura colectiva centrada en el bienestar, la gratitud y el afecto. Tambi\u00e9n tendr\u00e1n la oportunidad de hacer su propio <em>milagrito<\/em>: un peque\u00f1o objeto de metal que representa un deseo o agradecimiento por algo positivo. Los milagros se elaboran con la t\u00e9cnica de repujado, una tradici\u00f3n de origen mexicano con influencias europeas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hugo Llanes<\/strong> (n. 1990) es un artista mexicano residente en Reikiavik, que trabaja con diversos medios, como performances e instalaciones. Tiene una maestr\u00eda en Bellas Artes de Listah\u00e1sk\u00f3li \u00cdslands (Universidad de las Artes de Islandia).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingunn Fj\u00f3la Ing\u00fe\u00f3rsd\u00f3ttir<\/strong> (n. 1976) es una artista islandesa que vive en Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur. Es egresada del programa de Maestr\u00eda en Bellas Artes de Listah\u00e1sk\u00f3li \u00cdslands y tambi\u00e9n cuenta con una licenciatura en Historia del Arte por la Universidad de Aarhus. Es adem\u00e1s fundadora de la organizaci\u00f3n de ayuda GETA.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>En mi idioma<\/em><\/strong><em> es una serie de eventos que busca hacer que Hafnarborg sea m\u00e1s accesible para personas de diversos or\u00edgenes, dando la bienvenida a los visitantes en varios idiomas. El proyecto es una colaboraci\u00f3n entre Hafnarborg y GETA, una organizaci\u00f3n que promueve la inclusi\u00f3n y la convivencia intercultural a trav\u00e9s de actividades culturales y sociales.
