Hafnarborg invites primary school children to participate in fun and creative workshops during the upcoming Winter Break, October 20th and 21st. Open to all young artists and their families, these sessions are open to everyone who wants to unleash their creativity. The workshops will focus on different approaches, so children are welcome to attend either or both days.<\/p>\n
Halloween Tote Bag Workshop<\/strong> Multilingual Escola Florestal (Forest School) The workshops will take place on the ground floor of the museum and we ask that children attend accompanied by parent(s) or guardian(s). As always, participation in workshops and entrance to the museum\u2019s exhibitions is free of charge. \n<\/strong>In this creative workshop, participants will have the opportunity to play with colors and design their own tote bag. The bag can be decorated, drawn on, or painted according to each participant\u2019s ideas and can then be used for Halloween \u2013 when heading out to collect treats or play tricks \u2013 or for other autumn activities.<\/p>\n
\nTuesday October 21st at 1-3 p.m.<\/strong>
\nArtists Fernanda Fajardo and Anne Rombach will lead a family workshop in Icelandic, Portuguese, Spanish, English and German. Participants will be inspired by the forest\u2019s treasures and craft imaginative nature creatures and unique animals using leaves, sticks and branches from the beautiful autumn nature.<\/p>\n
