An award winning play is on view in one of Hafnarborg’s galleries all sundays at 1 and 3 p.m.<\/p>\n
The play is produced in cooperation with the Catherine Wheels theater in Scotland, G\u00f3\u00f0a Gesti (Good Guests), the town of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, the misistry of education and culture and Hafnarborg. WHITE’S<\/em> director is Gunnar Helgason and the actors are Mar\u00eda P\u00e1lsd\u00f3ttir and Virginia Gillard.<\/p>\n The audience are invited to a place where everything is white. This is a world that glitters, sparkles and shines at night and is full of bird-singing and bird houses. The world is bright, organized and white, but up in the trees the colors appear one by one. First red… then yellow… then blue.<\/p>\n WHITE<\/em> is a playful and visual show for young children from 2 – 5 years old and is a perfect first experience of the theater. The show, that comes from the Catherine Wheels theater group in Scotland, has recieved a number of rewards and has been shown world wide.<\/p>\n After each show, Hafnarborg will offer guests to take a unique tour of Fields of Lava<\/em>, an exhibition with the works of the painter Kristbergur P\u00e9tursson, where the children can\u00a0discover hidden images and colors that hide in the dark paintings.<\/p>\n
