Those are <em>Fields of Lava\u00a0<\/em>by painter\u00a0Kristbergur P\u00e9tursson and <em>DIKTUR,\u00a0<\/em>by artist Ragnhildur J\u00f3hanns. Sunday is also the last day of Ragnhildur&#8217;s exhibition <em>DIKTUR.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>After living amongst the fields of lava in Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur, it has sculpted his view thowards nature and his surroundings. The rich textures and dark surface of his paintings becomes like a ancient and almost\u00a0transparent membrane\u00a0or a protective shield.<\/p>\n<p>Ragnhildur&#8217;s material is found, used books which\u00a0in her treatment, gain a new existance.
