Percussionist <strong>Jennifer Torrence<\/strong> will premiere a new work by Bergr\u00fan Sn\u00e6bj\u00f6rnsd\u00f3ttir, as well as performing Tom Johnson\u2018s <em>Nine Bells<\/em>, from the year 1979. The event is included in the programme of Dark Music Days 2019.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\"><strong>Programme<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\">Tom Johnson,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\"> <em>Nine Bells <\/em>(1979) 45&#8242;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\">Bergr\u00fan Sn\u00e6bj\u00f6rnsd\u00f3ttir,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\"> New work (2019) 10&#8242;,<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #00dbd2;\"> premiere<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jennifer Torrence is an Oslo-based percussionist, performer, and artistic researcher specializing in contemporary music. Her current body of work investigates the body and physicality in relation to percussion\/performance. She creates new work through long-term collaborative partnerships with composers and composer-performers from around the world.\u00a0 She is currently an artistic research fellow at the Norwegian Academy of Music where she also lectures and teaches privately.<\/p>\n<p><em>Phonemes \u2013 Exhibiting Music<\/em> celebrates the fifth anniversary of the concert series of the same name, extending the platform of the series, which is dedicated to contemporary music and has been a part of the Hafnarborg programme since 2013.
