The curator of the exhibition is\u00a0<strong>Unnar \u00d6rn Au\u00f0arson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the exhibition, Hallger\u00f0ur directs our gaze at photography as a medium, examining not just the reality <em>in<\/em>\u00a0the photograph but the reality\u00a0<em>of<\/em> the photograph. By utilizing the various possibilities of the medium, she goes beyond just capturing a subject in good lighting, involving instead everything that happens inside the camera, the darkroom or, lately, in digital processing. At every stage in this process, the production of the image can take a whole, new turn, as there is no correct way of creating a photograph and the camera has its own effect on the end result.<\/p>\n<p><em>The exhibition is a part of the programme of The Icelandic Photo Festival 2022.
