Titled <em>From Saga to Present<\/em> (Swedish: <em>Fr\u00e5n saga till samtid<\/em>), the exhibition celebrates the longstanding partnership between the twin towns of Hafnarfj\u00f6r\u00f0ur and Uppsala. Later this year, as part of this exhibition exchange, a corresponding show will open at Hafnarborg, showcasing artworks from Uppsala\u2019s municipal art collection. The project is supported by the Museum Fund.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition in Sweden features works by Hildur \u00c1sgeirsd\u00f3ttir J\u00f3nsson, Tinna Gunnarsd\u00f3ttir, Gu\u00f0j\u00f3n Ketilsson, J\u00f3n\u00edna Gu\u00f0nad\u00f3ttir, R\u00fana, Marin\u00f3 Thorlacius, Astrid Kruse Jensen, Gurli Elb\u00e6kgaard, Eir\u00edkur Smith, Gu\u00f0mundur Thoroddsen, Margr\u00e9t Sveinsd\u00f3ttir, Gu\u00f0n\u00fd Magn\u00fasd\u00f3ttir, Hallger\u00f0ur Hallgr\u00edmsd\u00f3ttir, Edda J\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir and Kogga.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition committee comprises Ald\u00eds Arnard\u00f3ttir, H\u00f3lmar H\u00f3lm, Mikaela Granath and Tove Otterclou.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition will remain on view through June 8 and we warmly encourage all those who live in the area, or passing through the city, to visit Uppsala Art Museum and experience the show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See more <a href=\"https:\/\/konstmuseum.uppsala.se\/utstallningar\/fran-saga-till-samtid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a> on the website of Uppsala Art Museum.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In collaboration with the City of Uppsala\u00a0and Uppsala Art Museum, Hafnarborg presents an exhibition of select works from its collection, opening on Saturday, April 12th at 2 p.m., at Uppsala Castle.
